Joseph Anderson, Ph.D.
Professor: Healthcare Concentration
Joseph Anderson has acquired over three decades of experience in the
healthcare industry as a senior executive manager at the Hospital
Association of Pennsylvania, Merck & Company, Inc., and at
multiple acute care institutions and organizations throughout
south-central Pennsylvania.
Joseph graduated earned an
undergraduate degree in Social Psychology, a Master’s degree in Public
Administration and a Doctorate in Adult and Professional Education,
all from Penn State University.
In 1992, he co-founded
the International Radiosurgery Association, which provides patients
with information on the clinical and surgical options available
relative to the treatment and surgical management of neurological
conditions. He also is an affiliated presenter with Innovative
Healthcare Speakers, Inc., a national healthcare speakers' bureau
headquartered in Bozeman, Montana. His academic interests are in the
areas of healthcare economics and healthcare policy reform and the
study of international healthcare delivery systems in selected countries.
