Deloris Willis
Professor: People Management
Deloris Willis has over 15 years of extensive experience in Human
Resources and Organizational Leadership. Her areas of focus include:
organizational design, leadership development, process improvement,
workforce/succession planning, people management, instructional system
design, and project management.
Deloris has served in
numerous senior leadership roles on process improvements and
organizational change in multiple agencies. Her expertise also focuses
on academia, leadership and people management disciplines.
Specifically, curriculum development, training program evaluation,
consultation services, institutional research and faculty experience
instructing graduate level leadership and management disciplines in
both traditional and e-learning modalities. Dr. Willis is currently a
senior leader at the FDA. In this role, she performs quantitative and
qualitative studies designed to install and to improve management
planning systems, organizational development, and creates statistical
decision models for drug safety reviews and reporting. She develops
and analyzes innovative computer-based applications for the management
of workload and regulatory data.
Deloris has a Doctorate
of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of
Maryland University College and leadership expertise in administering
agency personnel policies in Human Capital Management. Deloris Willis
is certified to conduct workshops on Myers Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI), certified facilitator for Franklin Covey Seven Habits of
Highly Effective People, 360 Feedback Assessments and is knowledgeable
in instruments such as Thomas-Kilmann, DiSC, Conflict management, and
the Torres Learning Styles.
