Richard is a retired U.S. Air Force (USAF) Colonel with extensive experience in international negotiations. He has been a senior executive in both the private and public sectors and currently leads an internal consulting organization within the Federal Aviation Administration. His experience in two global organizations involved transforming both the learning and HR functions. He is a respected member of the Association of Managers of Innovation—a leading edge group of innovation practitioners from across business and government.

Richard holds a DSc in Engineering Management (Knowledge Management and Innovation) from the George Washington University, an MS in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University, and a BS in Political Science from the USAF Academy.
