Dr. Mario Barrett has over 25 years of progressive leadership experience on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as well as across several industries in the private sector, including Fortune 100 companies. Currently, Dr. Barrett is CEO of The Barrett Center for Leadership Development, LLC – a global leadership and organizational development firm. In addition, he has authored several best-selling leadership books, including Leading From the Inside-Out… and Eleven Leadership Practices That Will Change Your Life. 

He is also a frequent speaker and blogger on leadership and organizational change. He is especially proud to be one of the founding professors at the Jack Welch Management Institute. Dr. Barrett was recognized with the Dr. S. Irving Strayer Award for Excellence and Service in 2016, the inaugural Jack Welch Management Institute Outstanding Faculty Award in 2014 and the inaugural Jack Welch Management Institute Faculty Leadership Award in 2016 and 2017. He has a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University, an MS in Organizational Leadership (with distinction) from Mercy College and a BS in Organizational Management (with distinction) from Nyack College. He is also a member of Delta Mu Delta, ACBSP’s International Business Administration Honor Society.
