Jennifer Carpenter
Vice President of Talent Acquisition IBM
Jennifer is currently the VP of Talent Acquisition at IBM overseeing the design and execution of recruiting strategies to attract top talent. Before joining IBM, Jennifer worked at Delta Air Lines as its Global Head of Talent Acquisition, responsible for all hiring at the airline and for transforming the company's strategy for discovering and attracting exceptional talent. Jennifer's love of testing new ideas, along with her expertise in strategic talent management and enterprise-wide implementation, helped yield innovative solutions to put Delta at the leading edge of global talent attraction.
Before joining Delta, Jennifer spent 20 years with Accenture, a global professional services company with more than 420,000 employees in 120 countries. In her tenure at Accenture, she held an array of leadership positions, including Global Director of Learning & Talent Development, focused on advising the C-level leaders and HR business partners at two $1 billion hyper-growth practices in the financial services industry, and directing the company’s global performance management process. More recently she served as the Global Head of Recruiting, accountable for hiring more than 100,000 people annually.
She is active with her alma mater, Mount Holyoke College, where she graduated with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. Jennifer is passionate about developing future leaders and enjoys volunteering with Skills to Succeed and Junior Achievement.
