JWMI recognized in the list of best online MBA programs for the sixth year in a row
Washington, December 12, 2023 – The Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University (JWMI) was recognized by Poets&Quants, the premier online publication for business education news, as one of the top 10 online MBA programs for 2024. JWMI was ranked number 8 out of 50 institutions, securing its spot in the top 10 for the third consecutive year. Data for the rankings came from surveys distributed to participating schools and to alumni, with 50 schools included in this year’s ranking.
“We are thrilled that JWMI has been ranked among the top 10 online MBA programs for the third consecutive year by Poets&Quants. This recognition is a testament to our faculty and staff’s hard work and dedication. We are proud to offer an innovative real-world curriculum that equips our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s business environment,” said Mary Carr, Senior Vice Provost and Dean, JWMI. “Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our success, and we look forward to continuing to transform our students into leaders.”
Poets&Quants based its rankings on three core criteria of online business programs, which include: admissions standards, academic experience, and career outcomes. Data is collected through both school and alumni surveys and includes a wide range of topics such as GPA, acceptance rate, student engagement, program fulfillment, and more.
JWMI has consistently remained in Poets&Quants’ annual online MBA program rankings. Prior to this year’s announcement, JWMI placed at 10 and 6 in 2022 and 2023 respectively. The program has also been highly ranked among top online MBA programs by The Princeton Review and CEO Magazine.
“At JWMI, each course is engineered to achieve the best possible student outcomes, and I am proud to see that recognized through this prestigious ranking,” said Dr. Andréa S. Backman, President, Strayer University. “I look forward to working with our faculty to continue supporting our students in realizing their personal and professional aspirations.”
