Jeff Brooks has combined deep expertise in finance and strategy with a passionate leadership style to transform businesses and develop people to perform at their best. Jeff spent 27 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G) working in a number of business units and with operational roles in the USA, Poland, Switzerland, and Singapore. Jeff has been CFO of two different global business units ($4 billion prestige beauty and $1billion pet food) and was the corporate leader of P&G's 2004 restructuring initiative. During his tenure, Jeff led numerous M&A projects across the world including the company’s biggest acquisition (Gillette—$57 billion) and its two biggest divestitures (pharmaceuticals and pet care—each $3 billion) in addition to smaller deals in Asia, North and South America, and Europe.
Jeff is a three-time JWMI Outstanding Faculty award recipient (2015, 2016, and 2017). For him, teaching is a passion (not a paycheck), and his approach is more akin to a coach/mentor and talent development manager than a professor. Jeff also runs a boutique consultancy practice which provides entrepreneurs and middle-market businesses with strategy, operations, and M&A services. Jeff earned a BS in management and an MS in industrial administration from Purdue University.
